Homosexual
Homosexuality is sexual attraction to people of the same gender. The term "lesbian" is used more commonly when talking about homosexual women, and homosexual men tend to be called "gay." However, the term "gay" is also used as a term to describe homosexuality for people of any gender, as well as an umbrella term for anyone with a sexuality other than heterosexuality.
Although there is no difference between lesbian and gay (with the exception of gender), they make up two of the letters in LGBTQ, with the L standing for lesbian and the G standing for gay.
A notable gay man is Tyler Oakley, and a notable lesbian is Ellen DeGeneres.
